EM - Precision for optical parts

High-precision production lines ensuring above-average repeatability and extremely narrow part weight tolerances without further adjustment during production are indispensable for the manufacture of optical parts. At this year's NPE, Battenfeld Injection Molding Technology presented the fully electric EM series of injection moulding machines with their trend-setting drive and control technologies - the latest generation of machinery, ideally suited for the manufacture of high-end products. The production of high-precision optical components is an important field of application. Visitors to the NPE had a chance to see the machine at work, producing a polycarbonate lamp socket.
