In 2002, four Liebherr LR 1100 crawler cranes were sold to Oorschot. The 100 t crawler cranes are currently in operation at a gigantic construction site near Bleiswijk (Netherlands) for the extension of the Marseilles - Paris - Brussels highspeed railway line via Rotterdam to Amsterdam. They have been employed to position concrete moulds with the attached formwork parts, weighing up to 14 tonnes, which will subsequently be used to cast the reinforced concrete braces for the track. This large-scale project is scheduled to be completed by 2005. The LR 1100 crane has a lifting capacity of 104 tonnes.
