The control system is programmed in high-level language. This means that even extremely complex programme sections can be executed in a well structured manner and that software maintenance is considerably facilitated. Another outstanding feature of the new control system is its industry compatibility. The interfaces to the outside world have been executed using special field terminals. Each ndividual module is equipped with the corresponding status indicators. This makes tacking the signal up to the individual I/O point all the easier. It goes without saying that the system complies in full with all IEC norms.
