Easy Form Laser eliminates trial bends

A new measuring system, called Easv Form laser, to check sheet metal components during bending on press brakes has been developed by LVD and accounts for different material type and thickness. The system is able to position the ram of the machine in 'real time' using captured digital data to perform angles of bend between 45 deg and 150 deg, and is designed to eliminate the need for trial bending operations.
