At the February Studer grinding symposium, the further sharing of technology among Schliefring Group grinding technology companies was made evident, Already announced had been the Studer S242 and Schaudt Kairos grinding/hard turning units which use a common platform. Now, added to this will be a second common platform based on the Studer S12, this time with Mikrosa also sharing in its use alongside Schaudt, The S12 will be used to support the Mikrosa Kronos XS and Schaudt Zeus S machines.
