Filati Color has launched a new line of technical yarns that incorporate Advana's engineered fibres for hosiery, circular knitting, fiat knitting and weaving. "When we decided to increase our offer with technical yarns," says Enrico Marzoli, group director of Filati Color, "we have considered several types of special fibres that would combine their unique properties with the spinning technology of Futura, used for the production of Maximizer yarns. These are ideal for making fabrics and garments with reduced pilling effect, even after repeated washings, better stability and cleaner aesthetics. The choice was naturally on Advansa's special fibres used for the production of the high performance fabrics, with Coolmax and ThermoCool being well-known brands for body thermoregulation in sport apparel, hosiery and underwear."
