摘要

What started out as a summer job for Terry Kineshanko has grown into a 40-years-and-counting career. Terry Kineshanko knows the logging business well. Raised in the small British Columbia interior town of Lumby, near Vernon, the boisterous Kineshankogot involved with the industry at a young age, and can now list over 40 years of experience on his resume. "I started out during high school hooking chokers as a summer job, and then went on from there to falling and bucking," Kineshanko says. "I liked the logging side of the forest industry because it paid better than working in the mill. At that time, the guys in the mill were making 1.65 dollar per hour and I could make 30 dollar a day in the woods, so when I finished Grade 12, I took the experienceI had gained through my summer employment, and went right into a full-time job with Chaput Logging in Lumby."
