摘要

One of the key ways to help younger workers integrate into their industry is to ensure that Canada's future skilled workers have access to first class training programs as they start their careers. In the last issue of this journal I wished you "all the best success and advancements in your NDT careers." Having said that, I would now like to share with you interesting information from a recent survey of Canadian CEOs that could affect future "successes and advancements" in your NDT careers. In this Canadian survey, 85% of Canadian CEOs said that as a "key priority," they intend to make "some" or a "major" change to their strategies for managing talent. The concentration on talent management was reflected in the hiring plans/processes. Over 60% of Canadian CEOs, as compared to approximately 50% worldwide, said they expect to add jobs over the next year.
