摘要

The products of the transformation of different fullerites in the mixture with metal powders under a pressure of 5GPa at a temperature of 1200 degrees C have been studied. The initial fullerites were taken as soot extract and artificial mixtures of C-60 and 15-80% C-70. A superhard phase (with the "elastic" hardness exceeding 14GPa) is formed only from soot extract. The interlayer spacings in such phases were determined by X-ray diffraction to be 3.44-3.55 angstrom.
