Hyundai cites contribution of tribology to engine reliability

Hyundai Motor Co.'s principal research engineer, Oh Dae Yoon, who is based at the company's Power Train R&D Center, cited tribology's contribution to engine reliability and improved fuel economy. Speaking at the colloquia organized by the Asian Steering Committee of the Society of Automotive Engineers during the 9th annual Fuels & Lubes Asia conference and Exhibition held in Singapore recenlty, Oh discussed several research programs being carried out at Hyundi to establish engine reliability.
