In C_(60), the 3-methylene-2-ferrocenylmethylenequinuclidene occurs yielding a mono- and bisadduct. The bisadduct shows transpolar addition. Isomers for the bisadduct are possible but not clearly observed by H and C nuclear magnetic resonance spectra (NMR). The possibility of having a bisadduct with cis conformation since in the H NMR spectrum for bisadduct compound, only one strong signal for a ferrocenyl moiety C_5H_5 was observed, characteristic of compounds with high symmetry and it appeared at 4.29 ppm. The donor-acceptor properties of adducts are supported by electron spin resonance studies.
