Oil separators - make sure yours is compliant, or risk unlimited fines!

Several amendments have recently come into force from the Environment Agency governing the regulations for the manufacture, installation and maintenance of oil separators -sometimes referred to as oil interceptors - in a wide range of situations. Separators which do not comply with the Agency's rigorous requirements and European standards are deemed to be illegal, with regulations enforced by Trading Standards Authorities.
