Powys-based distributor Howell Fuel Oils has entered the Mercedes Unimog tanker pictured on this month's front cover for the title of 2014 Fuel Oil News tanker of the year. The two compartment tank with a 2,500 litre capacity was built by Road Tankers Northern. At just 6 feet 6" wide, this four wheel drive vehicle has been designed to access 'a growing number of properties, holiday cottages in particular, which are impossible to deliver to in a standard tanker'.
