There is still a lot of confusion about the role of fuel additives today.To many in the industry,the word "additive" refers only to cold-flow products.These additives,while highly effective at reducing service calls during the coldest winter nights,are only a part of the picture.Others think about low-cost solvent-based products that break up sludge,but clog filters,nozzles and strainers when first used.But today's premium fuel stabilizers and dispersants add value in ways that haven't been communicated clearly throughout the industry.
