Establish Canada as one of the best education and training environments for welding and materials joining

Remember those old days when most of the high skilled tradesman came from Europe, especially after the Second World War? I had often wondered why this was the case. How could other countries produce such highly skilled tradesmen and why Canada was so desperately lagging behind in developing its highly skilled work force? Over time, as Canadian's we have learned some lessons: we've built up high quality educational institutions, adapted more advanced teaching methods, and acquired new technologies that have enabled us to produce more highly skilled graduates.
