'A biological contrast - contrast like day and night'

Barco's new FLUO laser technology was nominated for the IPA Challenges I' Innovation award. The organization announced the winner of the contest during the IPA exhibition in Paris (from 18-22 November). Barco's newly developed fluorescence laser technology represents the next generation of laser sorting. After years of fundamental research together with the University of Brussels, Belgium we now can incorporate this technology into our sorting machines. Due to the fluorescence features of certain products, our patented laser fluorescence technology gives an even better contrast between color and texture differences. It creates a contrast like day and night resulting in very high detection and very low false rejects.
