Successful comeback of Sri Lanka Expo

After a break of 15 years due to acts of war in the North of the island, Sri Lanka saw a re-launch of the exhibition themed "The hub of Asia". The Sri Lanka Expo held March 28-30,2012 in the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Center in Colombo,staged a very successful comeback following similar events organized in 1992,1994 and 1997. The addresses delivered by the President of Sri Lanka, Mahinda Rajapaksa, and the Minister of Industry and Trade, Rishad Bathiu-deen, revealed the hopes for economic development they associate with the end of war in the north of the country.
