Horti Fair 2007 is earlier than usual and will be held during the second week of October. This year it will not only present the state-of-the-art in equipment it will also present lots of possibilities to deepen ones knowledge through the special pavilions. Usiness as usual is no longer enough in hortiBculture. The modern grower has to deal with new challenges and find strategic answers to difficult questions to keep up with worldwide competition. Innovations in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) offer great possibilities for controlling processes during production, through to trade and transport. On the other hand, the ever increasing concern for the environment is calling for a new approach to production. Greenhouse technology, breeding and biotechnology can bring new solutions for sustainable production.
