Tennessee Gas Pipeline Co. (RP11-1566) late last week answered the multitude of critics who lodged motions for summary rejection and requests for rejection, immediate implementation of fuel rewards, an evidentiary hearing or technical conference to handle the November 30 general rate case filed by the company under section 4 of the Natural Gas Act (NGA). Taking apart selected criticism of its rate proposal, Tennessee insisted the requests for rejection and summary rejection fall far short of showing that its filing on any of the relevant issues is patently deficient or a substantive nullity.
