Shippers Renew Protests in Response to Southern's Re-Filing of 'Miscellaneous' Tariff Changes

The indicated Shippers on 10/25/10 protested "miscellaneous" tariff revisions submitted on October 13 by Southern Natural Gas Co. (RP11-60). This is a re-filing of revisions (RP10-1043) submitted on August 27 that were rejected by the Commission because Southern had chosen an incorrect filing code. As before, Southern proposed changes to: (1) the reservation charge crediting language in Rate Schedules FT and FT-NN to remove a reference to a settlement resolving its next-to-last general rate case (RP04-523); (2) the definition of Btu to add greater specificity; (3) "Measurement of Volume" and "Measuring Equipment" language; and (4) "Resolution of Monthly imbalances" language adding authority for operational purchases and sales with third parties.
