摘要

Leasing contracts for hunting areas can be a tool to prevent potential conflicts between forest owners and recreational hunters. Forest owners will aim for minimal browsing damage and low costs of preventative measures (such as fencing). The hunter will aim for maximum observation of game and low costs of his hobby. The area of potential conflict is described and, although a good leasing contract can not completely prevent all conflicts, it significantly reduces its risk. Most contracts consist of a fixed price for the right to hunt plus an amount per killed animal.
