Texas Gas Transmission, LLC (RP11-2569) is seeking FERC‘s authorization to implement a so- called Enhanced Nominations Service (ENS) pursuant to a filing made on September 16. ENS would provide eleven additional nominations cycles to firm transportation customers, including no- notice customers, which elect to contract for ENS service at eligible physical receipt points. At least two customers so far have made some suggestions. Another customer, Devon Gas Services LP, protested outright, asking for rejection of the proposal or a technical conference. This customer argued that the ENS service introduces unreasonable uncertainty into to scheduling process, does not ensure that utilization of pipeline capacity is maximized and adversely impacts the rights of both firm and interruptible shippers.
