FERC Suspends Texas Gas' Proposals to Modify Fuel Tracker and to Implement an Experimental Fuel Savings Sharing/Incentive Mechanism

FERC said a technical conference is required to examine that October 1 filing of Texas Gas Transmission LLC (RP09-3) to modify its fuel tracker. The conference will also scrutinize Texas Gas (RP09-7) plan reimplement for three years an experimental fuel savings sharing mechanism. The Commission acceptea and suspended the tariff sheets setting forth Texas Gas' revised fuel retention percentages to be effective 11/1/08 (subject to Texas Gas refiling the tariff sheets reflecting its annual fuel rate adjustment consistent with its existing tracker mechanism), accepted and suspended tariff sheets revising its fuel tracer mechanism to be effective 4/1/09, and accepted and suspended the tariff sheets implementing tne experimental fuel savings mechanism to be effective 4/1/09.
