In a recent Report to Congressional Committees: Pipeline Security (GAO 10-867), the Government Accountability Office (GAO) acknowledged that the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS') Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has taken steps to strengthen U.S. pipeline security. However, GAO suggested that the Department still has to augment its security processes.
