FERC Denies Rehearing Petitions, Explaining Again That Concerns about Article 11.2 Rate Caps and Short-Term Services on El Paso Will Get a Sufficient Airing at Hearing

All requests for rehearing were denied on 11/10/10 by FERC with respect to an order, issued 8/5/08, that suspended a rate case and tariff sheets filed on 6/30/08 by El Paso Natural Gas Co. (RP08-426). The acceptance and suspension of the 2008 Rate Case, was subject to refund and conditions, and a hearing and technical conference.1 El Paso already has placed a new 2010 rate case before the Commission (RP10-1398).
