FERC Reverses and Awards Burlington Resources Reprieve from Ad Valorem Tax Refund Obligation

On 5/15/08, FERC reversed itself and told two pipelines - Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line Co. (RP98-40) and Northern Natural Gas Co. - to give money back to Burlington Resources Oil & Gas Co. (GP99-15) after reconsidering the refunds of ad valorem taxes that many years ago were paid by Burlington for sales of natural gas.
