Gulf Coast Terminal Would Add Backup Compression to Deliver Boil-Off Gas

Cameron LNG LLC (CP10-165) on 4/22/10 filed an application under section 3 of the Natural Gas Act (NGA) for authority to construct and operate spare pipeline compression (SPC) facilities at its liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal near Hackberry in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. The SPC project will not increase the certificated capacity of the terminal. On April 20, FERC's Office of Energy Projects (OEP) determined that the project is exempt from pre-filing environmental review.
