(RP09-466) in response to a show cause request composed in an order issued 5/1/09 by FERC regarding the creditworthiness provisions of the Kern River tariff. Kern River had been directed to show cause, pursuant to Section 5 of the Natural Gas Act, that current lending agreements justify the need for a collateral requirement in excess of three months of reservation charges. On May 29, Kern River responded.
