Proceedings of PCA International Conference in Prague

On September 28 through 30, the Pine Chemicals Association held its 2008 International Conference at the Intercontinental Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic. This beautiful and historic central European city was a wonderful venue for this annual event, formerly known as the PCA Naval Stores Conference, which serves as the cornerstone for PCA activities. Sunny days and cool, clear nights greeted the attendees, which numbered 178 delegates and 50 spouses and guests. Europe was appropriately well represented, numbering 43% of the delegates, with North America at 26%, 22% from Asia, 5% from South America, and 4% other regions. PCA President and COO Walter Jones and his staff again did an excellent job of organization and arranging hospitable activities.
