Analysing innovation in localized agrifood systems: interdisciplinary construct in Languedoc. (Special issue: Systemes agroalimentaires localises.)

摘要

This paper presents three approaches of innovation processes in Languedoc wine co-operatives. Economic and statistical analyses show the diversity of combinations of innovations and their efficiency whenever they cover the different steps of the production chain. The longitudinal analysis of innovating action systems highlights the importance of knowledge and relationships built through processes confronted with numerous trials. Finally, the study of exchanges in managers' advice underlines the roleof local networks in the dynamics of the productive and social milieu. The combination of these approaches shows the interest of an interdisciplinary analysis of innovation in localized agrifood systems from both scientific and operational perspectives.
