International crude: Dated Brent falls to 42.25/b

Dated Brent was assessed at 42.25/barrel Thursday, the lowest level since January 5, 2005 and a 4.10/b retreat since Monday. The buying appetite for incremental cargoes above base refinery demand in Northwest Europe was lacking, even with significant volumes of light North Sea grades having entered storage.
