Education and training are never long out of the 'news headlines these days as arguments rage about costs, funding models, priorities, quality, relevance, accessibility and the onslaught of globalisation.There is widespread agreement on the economic imperatives and social benefits of a better educated and more highly skilled population, but we all have different ideas of how this should be achieved. After all, this is a topic in which we all have direct experience, and therefore a strong opinion!
