Mast carbon acquires textiles manufacturer

MAST Carbon,a specialist developer of activated car bon products,has completed the purchase,for an undis closed sum,of Plymouth,UK-based activated carbon textiles manufacturer,Vapour Management Systems Ltd (VMS),from the global industrial giant,Invensys.The deal is part of MAST Carbon's strategic growth plans to develop and manufacture activated carbon textile products for use in a range of filtration applications,including chemical defence,medical wound dressings,energy storage and aircraft cabin air filtration,the company says.
