Mississauga, Ontario's Living Arts Centre couldn't have been a more appropriate venue for the recent annual Canadian Academy of Floral Art (CAFA) extravaganza. Its spacious interior, cutting-edge design and vibrant stained glass windows echoed what happened onstage: CAFA members' wearable creations - with their unconventional proportions, highly skilled use of colour and innovative spirit - were a step above fashion. They were true to the event's title, CAFA Couture.
