Filtration markets: The European market for filtration equipment

Ken Sutherland reviews the current state of the European economy, and looks at its effects on the market for filtration and sedimentation equipment in the whole continent of Europe. This market is analysed in several ways. The filtration and sedimentation equipment market in Europe has slipped into third place in the continental rankings, behind America (kept just in first place by some rapid economic growth in South America) and Asia, which has moved up into a close second place very largely on the strength of the Chinese market, and which also has been, to a large extent, unaffected by the 2008/2009 recession. By contrast, that same recession has affected Europe (and, of course, North America) markedly.
