Porvair Filtration Group’s (www.porvairfiltration.com) Boise Division, formerly TEM filters, is producing al-most 4500 filters for a global semiconductor design and manufacture specialist. Porvair’s GasPro~(TM) 500 filter was identified by a well-known supplier of sophis-ticated silicon wafers as a solution for their retrofit ap-plication. The GasPro~(TM) 500 filter is a PTFE mem-brane based product that is sized for 25 scfm gas flow applications and primarily used in nitrogen purge gas, clean dry air (CDA), and many process gas applica-tions. The filter is now being retrofitted to a particular tool that utilises CDA, with Porvair ensuring that it is compatible with the four types of connections used by the original equipment manufacturer.
