Wood WISE: The view from the sharp end

Do you ever wonder if there's a parallel universe and, if so, is it full of trees, happy staff and machines that work perfectly all the time? More to the point, is the world in general in agreement with what we wood people are doing? If only! I only start with that rambling thought because, as I read last month's FJ, I had thought I was going some way towards answering Rod Leslie's question: "So where's the action?" at least in a very small way. Instead of which I ended up living Lumbering jack's episode!
