摘要

Less than a year after Chile-based wild-caught and aquaculture company Sano Seafoods first began dabbling in fresh seafood sales, it has pulled out. Last fall, Sano began selling fresh fish, including Atlantic and steelhead salmon, in the United States. Marcy Bemiller, the company's head of the North American division, had hired her former colleague Dan Halpin to head the fresh sales division. Unfortunately, Bemiller says, the logistics just got in the way. Halpin left to join Newport International earlier this year.
