MAREL'S DPL Dynamic Packing & Slicing Line 125 was selected to upgrade salmon processing in Avezzano, Italy. Excellent Seafood SRL started processing smoked salmon in 2010. By 2011, production had reached six tonnes per week of various finished products, and the time had come to upgrade operations with a new slicing and packing line - a line that could also handle their swordfish portions and smoked tuna products. The Marel DPL Line 125 fulfilled Excellent Seafood's challenging requirements, which were much more than just technical. 'Marel doesn't just sell us processing equipment.
