Welsh initiative 'deserves to succeed'

David Taylor couldn't resist the opportunity to witness first-hand how the new Better Woodlands for Wales (BWW) grant scheme will support woodland owners in the principality. He recently visited the privately-owned 165ha Trallwm Forest managed by George Johnson who has been involved in a pilot scheme for BWW and is a member of the steering group, advising Forestry Commission Wales on its development and implementation. Trallwm Forest is managed by George primarily for timber production and recreation.
