Increasingly, information is retrieved from global 'big data' sets, including data from remote sensing, to assist the forestry sector with stock assessments, plant health monitoring, and, as a result, management decisions. Gsi introduces its new, cost-effective products 'Gsi-carbon' and 'Gsi-timber'. GSi and Woodilee Consultancy Ltd are working together to try and develop solutions to achieve better decision making tools for UK forestry.
