SALMON producers, health managers, pharmaceuticals and feed companies were among the industry professionals attending the most recent specialist workshop run by the Scottish Salmon Producers' Organisation (SSPO).The day-long event, held at Kingsmill Hotel, Inverness, on November 21, focused on the latest techniques, strategies and innovations to enhance freshwater production in Scotland.The future of the sector relies on the development of this section of the industry, which covers the key life stages from egg to smolt, supplying healthy juveniles to the seawater pen sites located around the coast of Scotland.
