Safeguarding forestry pesticides

There is an increasing number 01 regulatory pressures on pesticides currently used in forestry, amenity woodlands, Christmas trees and forest nurseries, and the intention of these notes is to alert foresters to situations where data may need to be generated to support offlabel approvals to retain forestry use. It is anticipated that FC will lead on this process, but will not necessarily support all private sector interests. Areas of concern include: The loss of products not being supported, or failing to be classified on the Annexe 1 EC Approvals List, eg simazine.
