A year of continued strength

My notes remind me that Midsummer's Day was a relatively cool 11*C and yet we have had the best summer for years, with a bumper harvest of fruit. In some ways, it has been a bit like the forestry market. Some months ago, we began to detect a slight cooling, with somewhat softer market prices for property and timber, with lower confidence in the future. However, it seems to have turned around and here we are at the end of the year, with positive results from sales and timber prices once again strengthening.
