THE PROBLEMS - One of the many problems facing the fishing and fish processing industries is disposal of waste and one of the major waste issues is the economical disposal of EPS fish box. However, a new technology coupled with working partnerships isable to provide solutions across Europe. Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) has long provided the fishing industry with an ideal medium to pack, store and transport its fresh produce reducing the need for cold chain. Some of EPS's many advantages are: Excellent insulation properties; Outstanding protection; A positive environmental impact (providing correct practices are used).
