Research suggests that trees may be capable of far more than we suspect. Some scientists controversially describe plants as 'intelligent' and suggest humans may underestimate the power of trees to communicate...They may not admit it, but many forestry folk do talk to their trees from time to time. Maybe they don't get an answer back or enter into a conversation, but a growing body of evidence suggests that trees can communicate with one another - maybe not as we mere mortals understand the term, but effectively, nevertheless.
