50% INTEREST IN THE GERMAN WATER FILTRATION COMPANY ACQUIRED

The MANN-HUMMEL Group (www.mann- hummel.com) has acquired 50% of Microdyn-Nadir which specialises in the production and marketing of flat sheet membranes. The Wiesbaden headquartered company supplies membranes and modules for microfiltration (MF), ultra- filtration (UF) and nanofiltration (NF) serving the indus- trial and municipal water and wastewater treatment sectors worldwide. Microdyn-Nadir also has subsidiar- ies in Xiamen, China and in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. The company has its roots in Hoechst AG’s membrane division, formerly known as Nadir Filtration which was founded in 1966. In 2003, Nadir Filtration merged with Microdyn Modulbau.
