Asulox - Emergency approval agreed for bracken

An Emergency Authorisation for the use of asu-lam for bracken control in the UK will commence 20 May 2013, with sale, storage and use allowed for 120 days to mid-September. Any surplus stock must then be returned to your chemical supplier by 31 October 2013, as it will be illegal to store asulam after this date. As a re-instated full approval for asulam is unlikely before 2016, repeated annual emergency authorisations will be needed until a new label is confirmed.
