In which our monthly contracting contributor Nick Hilton of Woodwise Forestry gets to grips with some grumpy oaks and a new saw ... What's going on then? Talk about all quiet on the western front. I refer to work, or rather the lack of it. Fair enough, I usually expect a downturn in activity during April and May - it's down to the birds and the B's you see. The birds are having their lustful ways and as for the B's, well the Budget's been spent, the Bluebells are up and I'm Bloody glad of a rest after the madness of the winter workload.
