Plant density and date do not affect the storage quality of cabbage.

摘要

Field studies were carried out in Germany with white cabbages (cultivars Kalorama and Latima). Plants were planted out on 24 May and 17 June 1998, harvested on 27 October and 20 November, and stored in a controlled atmosphere until 8 July 1999. Plant densities were 37000 and 55000 plants/ha. Data are presented on growth, head weight, weight during storage, and levels of carbohydrates. No significant effects of planting parameters were found.
